Semantic Contact Forms

Semantic Contact Forms are necessary for your standards compliant website. Even a valid XHTML WordPress theme, such as JustSimple, can use this accessible contact form.

I have been using the Secure and Accessible PHP Contact Form v.2.0WP. Here are just a few of it’s features:

This powerful yet easy-to-install PHP contact form, brought to you by Mike Cherim and Mike Jolley, features exceptional accessibility and usability while still providing extensive anti-spam and anti-exploit security features. A perfect marriage of communication and peace-of-mind. And it works. So far this form has saved you from getting 0 spam emails! Happy now? Please make a Donation.

You can download it at Mike Cherim’s weblog. You can also create one yourself, and all it really takes is a bit of semantic know-how. Creating the form element itself is easy enough, but using

<fieldset>…</fieldset> and <label>…</label> tags are a must!
